I decided it was time for new professional images for my new profession and I was so incredibly happy to meet Paulina Gwaltney Photography through BNI. Paulina is absolutely one of the most talented photographers I’ve worked with. She scheduled a makeup session for me with the amazing Jackie and both of them made me feel comfortable and confident. Paulina encouraged me to change outfits and adjusted backdrops accordingly. If she had an accessory that I did not bring, she provided it. Honestly, it was difficult to narrow down to a select few images because there were so many beautiful ones to choose from. Paulina is a highly skilled photographer with the best attitude and demeanor. I was dreading having a business photo shoot with various outfits etc. I ended up enjoying every minute of it! She made it a blast and knows how to bring out your best look. I booked my daughter a photo shoot after mine. What a great way to celebrate your family and have the photos to remember it all. I would not even consider using another photographer after working with Paulina!

I recently had headshots taken with Paulina and it was such a FUN experience. Who doesn’t like to be dolled up and complimented?! We bantered and talked while taking pictures and I learned so much about body language and how every little adjustment speaks to clients in photos and how it looks different in photos. Her photography is artwork and I’d definitely recommend doing a shoot with Paulina!
The entire experience with Paulina was flawless. I went to see Paulina for portraits along with my partner and our dog. Paulina was flexible about scheduling, as well as extremely attentive during the pre shoot consultation. We had not been professionally photographed before, and did not know what to expect, and Paulina’s information packet and tips were invaluable. Well before the actual shoot day we knew what to do, what to bring, and what to expect and it was all fabulous. The atmosphere at Paulina’s studio is relaxing and lovely, she has truly thought of everything. During the photo shoot, Paulina went above and beyond to bond with our dog and make us comfortable and relaxed. She is extremely professional and does a wonderful job of directing the process while being warm and encouraging. She obviously cares deeply about her clients and her work. The photographs themselves are beyond our expectations, we are thrilled. Paulina’s photographs show us at our most beautiful, while also conveying real soul, depth and character. This process has been priceless, and the photographs that we have on our walls will be treasures for the rest of our lives. They bring us so much joy! I cannot recommend Paulina highly enough; she is an amazing artist, and a rare gem.
Paulina is so fantastic! I’ve worked with a lot of photographers in the past, and she’s among the top percentage. So easy to work with, so helpful and attentive, and so good at putting her subject(s) at ease. She was really fun to shoot with and she made sure that I felt comfortable and in control, while giving guidance along the way to make sure that every detail was in place. She was also super quick with her image turnaround and each photo is so beautiful Added bonus: she has her own stylist team and some wardrobe so you don’t have to worry about those details.
I have been in survival mode for so long that I’d completely forgotten how to let go. White knuckling day-to-day life makes it difficult to make art, and difficult to share. I walked in to the Paulina Gwaltney Photography studio for a photoshoot with my sister and her bestie, having no idea what I wanted to do, I just trusted the process. Trusting Paulina is very easy to do, she has an aura about her that lets you know it’s a safe space. And her portfolio made me KNOW that if anyone could make me feel beautiful, it would be this photographer. A year of pandemic stress had let my inner saboteur convince me I was no longer the pretty woman I once was. Paulina helped me see that my beauty hadn’t gone anywhere. I felt beautiful the second styling began. Paulina created the gown pictured on the spot, draping and pining the gorgeous fabric to accentuate my body perfectly. Jacqueline Chavez – Make Up Artistry performed magic with her makeup brushes, making me look and feel so glamorous. Samanthia Milton styled my hair to frame the crown and was so gentle, making me feel so pampered. These curls were so soft to the touch, too. Clothes, makeup and hair, I wish they all could style me everyday! They made me look and feel gorgeous. Posing was easy because Paulina’s experience lets her know what will look good and what will look amazing. She gently guided me to amazing. The entire experience was incredibly wonderful and healing.
